INFINITE BLISS announces acquisition  of VEI

Diego Putman, CEO of VEI (Virtual Enterprises Inc.) announced today that virtual communities hosted by VEI, a company once known as the cutting-edge leader of the post-biological destinations industry, are now a part of Infinite Bliss, a company best known for hosting a variety of religious-themed virtual communities, including Everlasting Praise. Currently, Infinite Bliss is controlled by bio members connected to several hundred virtual residents of Everlasting Praise, a sect based on Christian Fundamentalism. VEI's communities include Bali Hai, a collection of major cities, resort, rural, and multi-cultural environments, once viewed as the most comprehensive and luxurious environments available.  Putnam is a descendant and heir of virtual Bali Hai citizen Gunter Holden.  Many consider Holden a pioneer of the post-biological destination industry. In addition, Putman revealed that on October 30, an accident occurred involving a mass deletion of several thousand Bali Hai virtuals. In the process of rebooting in order to add Infinite Bliss Communities to the Bali Hai program, Virtual Paris was inadvertently erased. Says Putman, "Infinite Bliss regrets the tragic loss of any virtuals, especially when so many are involved and bio family members are being notified." Putman pointed out that there is always a risk of unintentional deletions and as such liabilities assumed by the companies providing virtual environments are limited, however, steps are being taken to minimize future losses.
